Our Lady of Guadalupe, Mother of the Americas and of the unborn, look with mercy upon us. Through your image at Tepeyac you showed the love of a mother; lead us ever closer to your Son Jesus, and help us to trust in His tender care. Amen.

Mexican Hot Chocolate

A warm, cinnamon-spiced chocolate for the feast of the Americas.

Ingredients

4 cups milk 4 oz dark chocolate 1 cinnamon stick 1 tbsp sugar pinch of chili powder (optional)

Instructions

1. Warm milk with the cinnamon stick. 2. Whisk in chocolate until melted. 3. Add sugar and a pinch of chili. 4. Froth and serve hot.
