On Mount Tabor, Christ was transfigured before His closest disciples, His face shining like the sun and His garments white as light, with Moses and Elijah speaking with Him of His departure. The feast reveals the glory destined for all who follow Him. It is kept on August 6, when grapes and fruit are blessed in church.
